Difference

I finally found the biggest difference between studying and working.

In this big working world, is it true that you can never find a friend in your company?

Someone who can share your small small secrets.
Someone who can gossip and bitch with you.
Someone who know that you just want to complain and everything will be fine after that.
Someone who know what you like and what you hate.
Someone who will cheer you up when you are sad.
Someone who understand.

I found them during my studying life. But there don't seem to be this person around in the big working world...

23's with ENEs

Celebrated with the ENEs at Timbre. Not everyone is from ENE, two of them are actually from CEE. I can't remember when we start to celebrate each other birthday. And I can't remember when CEE people start joining us. But then, it's fun talking like old friends, catching up with each other on what's happening lately. Even though, we didn't talk to each other before when we were in school.

The girls. All pretty with that big smile on their face. Wahaa...
And the boys... Don't you think they look like they are taking some class photos? All lined up neatly in rows. The short ones in front and the tall ones at the back. Judging from the number of people standing in front, one can sort of estimate the amount of shorties in my class. Haa...
The birthday girl, Shalynn! It's her actual birthday the day which we met up. Happily posing with her birthday presents. I hope you like the present we gave you. I'll ask you out for the rest of the outing so that you can remember the rest of the classmates' name. And we didn't really graduate that long, right? Three months?? I hope you will still remember my name the next time we meet up. Hee...

The real birthday girl and the fake birthday girl. Hee... Though most of the people who went didn't know it was Shalynn's birthday and they thought it was only to celebrate my birthday, I really hope she still enjoy herself.

Notice the change in clothes? I wore the white dress out and later changed to the green top. My birthday present from xiaoai. And not forgetting the card. I LOVE IT!!!!!

Eng Wee have been complaining on the "I HATE YOU" card for don't know how many times. All I can tell you is, "I LOVE YOU" can only be given to xiaoai.

It had been a long long time since so many of us bothered to turn up for someone's birthday. Thanks xiaoai for organising. Let's meet up more often and not just to celebrate each others' birthday. That's one of my birthday wish; I hope it'll come true!

23's with Bestie

Celebrated my actual birthday with my colleagues in the afternoon and Shuyi at night.

I didn't want to celebrate my birthday with my colleagues cos we aren't really that close. Plus no one know it was my birthday except my boss. But he betrayed me so we went out for lunch. No photos! I don't think they want to be captured too.

I just want to thank my boss for organising the thing. Maybe not really organised cos everything is like so impromtu. Anyway, I really touched with whatever you have told me and I really appreciate whatever you have done. Though I refused to accept the present, the lunch and the cake, it's the thought and effort which I treasure more. Plus I have already told you the reasons for rejecting, I hope you understand what I mean.

Dinner with Shuyi at Essential Brew and drinks at Eski Bar. I don't think the main courses were very good, but the snacks were alright. Think Essential Brew is a place more for drinks. The drinks there are real special cos every drink there are related to tea. Should go there to try the drinks one day.

Drinks at Eski Bar are normal too. Not much surprise I'll say, cocktail just taste mostly the same to me! Wahaa...
Photos with Shuyi. We were wearing the pink coats in one of the pics. Eski Bar is famous for their freezer. And it's really freaking cold. Coats are provided for us to enter the freezer, yet it's not enough to keep me warm for more than 10 mins. The pink coats are pretty, but they will be prettier if they are in purple. Hee...

23's with Family

Though my birthday is long over, I have yet to post up all the celebrations' photos. So the next few post will be all about my 23rd birthday.

With my dearest mummy and sister at Jumbo. It's not the food we eat that matters, I just like the feeling of celebrating my birthday together. Especially fitting into my sis super tied schedule.Two crabs died on that day. We had chilli crab and black pepper crab. We still prefer chilli crab. Black pepper crab is definitely too spicy for our liking. Though the buttery smell is heavenly, I just don't like the taste of butter.

I like 84. If you have noticed, even my handphone number ends with 84. Hee... But my favourite number will always be 13!!!!
Mummy with sister and mummy with me. So which one of us looks like mummy more? I think I look more like my mum and sis agree too. Do the rest think so too?? I proud to look like my mum!
All of us enjoyed the food. And look at all the busy eaters!!!!!
I have the liking of taking frames photos using my handphone camera. And my sis started the whole series of acting cute.

I won't say I have a great 22; have lots of ups and downs. Not forgetting the number of times I cried.

But then...

It started great. Having half of the class singing birthday song for me, though I really felt super paiseh.

And it ended well. Sitting at my boss desk, surfing the net and talking rubbish for half a day.

Counting down and waiting for my GREAT 23 to come!!!!

Girls' Birthday

It's definitely my first 23rd celebration. I had lots of fun, just love hanging out with the girls when we can have lots of things to talk about though we seldom meet up with one another.

We wanted to have japanese food for dinner at Waraku. But the stupid me forgot to tell Chewting about it and she just had dinner with Weijun at the SAME place the day before. Anyway, we decided to have korean food instead at Crystal Jade. I have tried it before and stry fried rice cake is still my favourite!

The birthday girls. Though Chewting and Meiying birthdays are both over and mine is not even here yet, we are still 3 lovely libra babies. Wahaa!! I still remember the first time which we celebrated each other birthday, all 3 of us are still staying at hall. But now, we have all stepped into this crazy working world!!!!!

The presents I have got for them. I hope both of you will like it. I'm seriously don't know what to get, but then I hope the things I get will be something useful instead of something that is nice yet you can only place it there.

Lancome mascara for Meiying. I have not tried this lastest product before but it supposed to be smudge-proof. Think it will be best for used during working days!
Mango green earings for Chewting. Remember to bring it to the States! Haa...Some random photos after dinner. Trying to act cute! Anyway, Weijun is damn sweet. He's going to quit his job and go over to US with Chewting for a year. *envy* Luckily, I never introduce the wrong person to you, Chewting. I'm waiting for my matchmaker ang bao. AND....

This is definitely my favourite!!!!!!If you think girls are more sensitive than guys, then I'm totally going to disagree with you. I used to think that guys are always totally insensitive. Even if they know something is wrong, they won't even bother to find out why. But NOW, this is totally NOT true. I think I found myself a great guy friend. And think it's the best present I will ever have for my 23rd birthday!

I'm real mean today and for the past few days. Feeling really bad now!

I'm going to apologise tomorrow and hope everything will be back on track before my birthday...

Updates...

I injuried my tendon lately and have been keenly visiting the sensei every alternate day. Not forgetting sticking on to the strict diet of not nuts, beans and cold drinks. Can you imagine me not drinking something cold!!! Which means that I have been living without coke for the past few weeks.

All these are just to ensure that I can wear my pretty heels out for celebration!

I have already told my mum that no matter how much treatment I still need to go through before my leg completely heal, I'm going to break all the nots and eat whatever I want when I'm out for celebration. Everyone can only has her 23rd birthday once right? So I seriously believe in enjoying myself to the fullest!

I can't wait for the celebration to start. And the first one will be this coming friday!!!

I sort of get my first birthday present but I rejected it. Anyway, Ms Attitude is back!!! The feeling of looking through your old handphone; looking at all the old photos and videos really brought back lovely memories of hall, school, friends....
